Long before today’s collections, there were the original Happiness Is... T-shirts. These special archive pieces take us back to the early days of the company, when a simple idea and a little Canadian pride helped start it all.

At 95, founder Gordon Carton gifted these T-shirts to friends from across Canada’s political spectrum at one of their regular lunch gatherings. They may not have agreed on everything, but they shared in the happiness that Canada brings.

Now, these original designs are back for a limited time.
